Eastern Bloc Work Registration
There is confusion over employing A8 citizens in the UK. A8 includes Poles, Hungarians, Latvians etc. Most of these people are excellent workers and predominately find work in the Agricultural and Leisure sectors. Hotels, restaurants, intensive farms depend on them.

New Qualifications on the way
During 2006 changes are planned to basic food qualifications with the introduction of National Occupational Standards (NOS), this will provide the nationally recognised framework for external and internal training courses.
